How to Get There
As there is no airport on the island, you can travel to Sifnos by ferry or helicopter.
By Helicopter from Athens airport: It takes about 35 minutes and costs approx.EUR 360 per person.
Ferry: Fly into Athens. Hydrofoil ferries take only 2 1/2h & 3h from Piraeus Port. In the summer there are about 4-5 ferries daily that get you between Athens & Sifnos.
Alternatively, you can also fly into one of the neighbouring islands such as Mykonos or Miloas which have an airport. We can pick you up from there by private boat.
Good to Know
Sifnos belongs to the Cyclades islands group and sits in the heart of the Aegean Sea, close to Milos and Serifos islands.
Boasting the typical Cycladic architecture, Sifnos is dotted with cubic whitewashed houses, over 300 (!) beautiful churches, dovecotes, and little earthenware shops. The island oozes a fairytale charm that it makes it feel like it’s a world away from the mainland!
Where to Eat & Drink
What Sifnos is most famous for, is its gastronomy! Home to the famous Greek chef Nikolaos Tselementes, Sifnos has undoubtedly amazing food! You can taste the yummy local recipes, such as capper salad, chickpea soup, and Marcelo at the excellent Sifnos restaurants and taverns.
Omega 3 on Platis Gialos, Cantina by Kastro and, soon, Pelicanos at Faros — as well as the oldest pottery studio on the island, Atsonios. After picking up some ceramics baked in a traditional kiln, stop for lunch at Manilo’s, which sits at the opposite end of Vathi beach. It’s a great place to taste the island’s traditional dishes such as chickpea stew and lamb mastello. At night, head into the pretty, Venetian-style village of Artemonas for mezze and tsipouro at Mosaico.

Beaches
Escape the summer heat and take a dip at Chrisopigi beach, under the homonymous whitewashed church, at the cosmopolitan Platis Gialos, at sandy Vathi beach, followed by a seafood meal, and at Kamares, where the island’s port lies!
