The Hotel to Stay in this Week
Hotel Drei Berge in the picturesque village of Mürren in the Bernese Alps is a 19-key lodge owned by French-Moroccan designer and entrepreneur Ramdane Touhami. He purchased the 1907 hotel last year and has since transformed it into his curated world.

The Restaurant to Try this Week
Byakko at the newly opened Six Senses in Crans-Montana is a contemporary Japanese restaurant you have to try. Enjoy grilled local fish, delicious Japanese Wagyu tataki, and Blue Crystal shrimp, all influenced by the freshness and diversity of the Japanese Alps. The stylish bar offers exotic and daring sake-based cocktails, sprinkled with aphrodisiac herbs and a side order of music and laughter, served against a sumptuous silk interior with warm and welcoming tones.
The Brand & Store of the Week
Milan-based Sease Official just opened their first store in Gstaad. Owned by Loro Piana's son Frankie Loro Piana, Sease is one of our favorite mountain wear brands and naturally features Italian elegance and contemporary functionality. A new competition to Fusalp, Perfect Moment & co.
The Wine of the Week
Franz Hirtzberger Riesling Smaragd 2012
One of the best vineyards in Austria’s famous Wachau valley, the Singerriedel rises steeply right behind Weingut Hirtzberger. The winemaker family pays very special attention to Singerriedel and has been rebuilding the stone terraces here already for 20 years. The reason for their great efforts is the extreme minerality of the soil, comprising gneiss, mica, schist, and other primary rocks. This unique terroir provides the foundation for their greatest Riesling Smaragd.
The New Flight Route
Swiss offers now direct flights from New York to Basel Euro Airport. A great and well-priced alternative to their direct & daily services to Geneva and Zurich.
The New Train Route
Trenitalia’s new overnight route from Rome to Cortina d’Ampezzo starts service this weekend. The 220-bed train service will operate every weekend until the 25th of February, with stops along the way at Orte, Orvieto, Treviso, Ponte nelle Alpi, and Longarone-Zoldo.
