Steinach Townhouse
There is a place in Merano where the charm of days gone by seems to merge with the present. It is the Steinach quarter, the medieval town center of the spa town, bordered on one side by urban liveliness, and on the other by the peace and tranquillity of the lush vegetation along the promenade on the Passer river. It is only a stone's throw from the city center to the old town. As soon as you have set foot in the historic Steinach quarter, the bustling noise falls silent and is replaced by the gentle murmur of the Passer in the distance. The Steinach Townhouse Merano welcomes its guests in this place where the pace and everyday life seem to slow down.

What's the Story
- The former 19th century farm was carefully and artfully restored and brought back to life, giving the people of Merano a piece of their glorious past. The Townhouse opens the door to travelers to a unique place where the play with different times, historical roots, style elements and spatial experiences finds a wonderful setting in harmony with craftsmanship and genuine hospitality.
Introducing the Owner's
- The hosts of the Steinach Townhouse are Katalin Huff and Andrea Fenoglio. They also own the Michelin-starred restaurant Sissi and the Pizzeria 357, two gastronomic institutions in Merano, which they both run with the same enthusiasm and passion. The couple unites three cultures - Hungarian, Italian and Austrian - and pours them into a unique concept of genuine, warm and informal hospitality. The desire to convey their very own understanding of "good taste" to discerning guests and international travelers can be found today in every creation by chef Andrea Fenoglio, as well as in every conversation and in every little gesture that Katalin shows her guests.
